Citizen Participation in Policy-Making

This article introduces a good practice of citizen participation in policy-making by the use of the Internet. The Seoul City in Korea established a portal, "OASIS" which enables citizens to suggest policy ideas online, and participate in the City''''s policy-making process. Some of their policy ideas have been adopted and implemented.
