APG (Asian Public Governance) Forum on Regulatory Policy and International Regulatory Co-operation(IRC)

The OECD KPC Public Governance Programme hosted the ‘APG (Asian Public Governance) Forum on Regulatory Policy and International Regulatory Co-operation(IRC)’ at The Plaza Hotel in Seoul to discuss IRC and measures to realize effective regulatory policies.

The Forum was co-hosted by the OECD Regulatory Policy Division and the OECD KPC Public Governance Programme and lasted for 2 days from June 24 to 25, 2019.

Around 40 experts and public officials from Korea, OECD, ASEAN countries, and Europe participated to raise awareness on international regulatory co-operation against transboundary challenges and regulatory policies on new industries·technologies in the digital era. The participants also discussed the role of Parliaments in regulatory policy.
