  Programme Summary


  Objectives
      The inception workshop will serve as a venue to: (i)discuss revised Handbook on Social Protection Index and
  module of Social Protection to be incorporated in the Household Income Expenditure Survey in three selected
  countries; (ii) review and share experiences among SPI national consultants on the collection of data for social
  protection, and preparation of the country report (iii) further identify the expected outputs, activities and participating
  organizations in relation to the formulation of the detailed work plan (s), mechanisms, and arrangements in
  implementing the (a) capacity building component of the project, (b) preparation and finalization of individual country
  reports and the multicountry report, (c) developing the SPI database and computing the final SPI
