Performance Measurement and Government Innovation for Asian Countires

Performance management and government innovation have been among the most important concerns of OECD and other countries in recent decades. The Centre has committed to devote its efforts in this area and to have this even as an annual symposium in the Asia region since its inauguration in 2005. The Symposium will provide an opportunity for Asian countries’ practitioners in public sectors and academics working in related areas to share their and OECD member countries’ experiences and challenges in the field of government innovation and performance management.

The meeting will feature sessions on:
1. The effect of performance measurement on government innovation in OECD and Asian countries.
2. Improvement of performance measurement in the public sector.
3. Experiences of performance measurement in Asian countries.
4. Prospect of performance measurement as an innovation tool.
