A collaborative effort to compile health estimates for Asia - Pacific economics has been made for the last several years, with the eventual objective of establishing a regional health account database. This activity has involved collaborations between the OECD Korea Centre, the Asia - Pacific NHA network and WHO, and has used a SHA-based questionnaire to compile health accounts statistics. As a consequence of these development, comparable health expenditure estimate are now available in the SHA format for several Asia - pacific economies
