Strategies,Tools and Capacities for Administrative Efficiency and Simplification

* SUMMARY

This book was published as outcomes of the 4th Multi-country Study Mission, whose subject was about Strategies, Tools and Capacities for Administrative Efficiency and Simplification. A total of fourteen country cases were selected and edited for this publication. The countries which contributed their papers are Brunei Darussalam,Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Mongolia, Lao PDR, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines,Sri Lanka, Republic of Korea, Timor-Leste, Thailand and Vietnam.


The papers present their countries’ administrative simplification strategies and tools and identify obstacles to implement those strategies and some key issues. All of the cases were reviewed and analyzed by Dr. Hunmin Kim who compares and contrasts the strategies and tools implemented in these countries and discusses the policy issues drawn from these Asian countries.
